Biss is one of the oldest encryption methods.
I have seen old receivers (other brands) from 2005 with 2005 firmware get biss.
Some are easy, like the coolsat you just put the receiver on a biss channel and enter the key.The receiver does the rest.Others you have to enter the provider id and sid info, which is tricky if you have 2 channels with the same provider.Mvidea or echostar are like that. You may be watching 1 biss channel then have to edit the provider to stop watching and to watch another biss channel.Microyal/hevet will search the biss keys for a match,so there is a delay before the channel pops in when changing channels.Openbox you have to enter all the info per channel in the constant.cw file, the provider id and sids in hex format. If you see biss keys in a softcam it's bogus, the keys have to be in the constant.cw file. With my provider the firmware has to be dated prior to 04-04-2011 or biss doesn't work. This leads me to believe they changed coders after that time and biss stopped working.I have seen descriptions of firmware after that saying it works for biss, but in my case it doesn't.
an example of constant.cw for biss.
edited on a pc and saved as constant.cw for loading via usb or lan.
notice 2 channels use the same key same provider(1FFF)
some receiver brands will look for the provider, key 0 and ignore any other keys.
the key line is actually a combo of key 0 and key 1 to fill the space.
openbox it would be odd even key

yes S10 can use BISS key...but wer to find it..most of the BISS key available is for satelites that out of my country footprint ..so bad..BTW,im from malaysia .
I had to keep searching the internet for the sat I wanted to watch, then I had to figure out how to enter the keys in the s10.Sometimes softcams for other receivers or dvb cards will have the biss keys, you could get the keys from that and make or edit a constant.cw file.
