Thereafter, on thethird page, a fake authorizationletter opens and informs thecustomers that they have won afree Videocon d2h product with free Videocon d2h product withfree package subscription ofduration ranging from 2 years tolifetime. The fake authorizationletter further asks the customerto deposit an amount towardscustomer service tax in anaccount with a bank for whichthe details are provided and tofax the deposit slip to a specifiednumber. Videocon d2h has takenimmediate & necessary steps toprevent the general public fromfalling into the hands of such fakefalling into the hands of such fakeand illegal websites andendeavors to create awarenesson the increasing number offrauds in the industry as well.Most of these websites havealready been blocked and actionis being taken against theconcerned.
