Cheap Smartphones by Motorola
Motorola, in its latest strategy, seems to be concentrating on the low to mid-range smartphone segment where it is expected to bring out a slew of new devices in the near future.

This is quite a change from Motorola's earlier strategy of hitting it with one device, like it had done with the Razr back in 2005. Motorola hasn't really been able to compete with the likes of the Apple iPhone and RIM in the high-end segment, and now seems to have set its eyes on the lower-end segment where it will have the assurance of getting greater margins from sales. The smartphones will also use the Android OS which is again, free. |
