The episode opens with some procession of a leader from Joota Party, who have won the election. Biji is sad as he had supported the rival Dhoti party. Mausi says whoever wins the election, Lapataganj will still remain the same. But Biji is very sad and he decides to write a letter to Bhaiyaji, the losing candidate. Despite all his afforts, the Neta looses electionWhile writing letter, he goes into the flash, where kachua is giving a speech on behalf of bhaiyaji but no one has come to listen to him except some children. While Neta asks about the karyakartas, biji tells him that he has hired some karyakartas for him. Then biji goes to indu and advices her to join Bhaiyaji’s party. To make sure that Bhaiaji wins the election, Biji wants to hire Bhavani Singh, a criminal who captures booth in elections. Bhawani tells them that opposition has paid him more to make Bhaiyaji lose and Bhaiaji is going to lose. Then Biji bets on defeat of Bhaiyaji’s party. When election results come, Bhaiaji has lost and Biji has made money on his bet. Kachua tells Bhaiya ji that instead of spending money in the election, if Bhaiyaji would have spent on Lapataganj, he would have won. Biji realizes the truth in Kachua’s statement. While coming back from his thoughts, Biji drops the idea of writing to Bhaiyaji.

Indu is very happy. Her life long dream of going on a vacation has finally come true. Moreover she will be going with Chukundi and Mukundi. Everyone at Lapataganj is extremely happy for her and they all help her begin preparations to leave. With much fan fare all the preparations have been completed. They are now all set to go. They get ready to leave when things take an unexpected turn.

Indu’s vacation plans go crashing. Just when she is ready to leave, her mother, sister and brother in law arrive on their door step. Mukundi is shocked by their sudden arrival. He gets a nasty surprise when the Jija starts making unjust demands and makes Mukundi’s life hell. Mukundi tries extremely hard to keep up with the demands and ensure Indu’s mothers happiness. Moreover he is also worried about the arrangements he has made for their vacation.

Will Mukundi find a way out of his predicament or will all his plans get cancelled?

Tum Kab Jaoge Atithi??? part 3

Indumati’s relatives have come over and they are making Mukundi’s life hell. The only silver lining is that they plan to leave in a few days. In that time however Mukundi’s situation goes from bad to worse as the Jija keeps demanding kauchri’s from Peepla ganj which Mukundi has to go and fetch every time. Indu’s mother also gets into a tussle with Gissu who had given Mukundi a loan. Tired of this Mukundi decides to make them see the error in their ways.

Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge??? Part 4

Mukundi’s plan to show the guest the movie Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge so that they would realize what a nuisance they were being was unsuccessful. As there was no change in their demanding behaviour he decided the time had come to take drastic measures. He knew that Indu’s mother did not like Sugandhi. He uses this to come up with a plan to get rid of the guest and exact his revenge

Sadak Aur Gaddhe Monday 3 May 10 pm only on SAB

Mukundi tries to explain to his son Chukundi that the government only listens to the rich and the powerful. On his way to work, Mukundi finds some people digging holes in Lapataganj. He stops to inquire as to why and from whose permission are they doing this in reply to which the contractor tells him that they are part of Pradesh Gaddha Nigam. Basically, the contractor had already bribed the Minister to get the contract of digging the place. The Minister promises the people of Lapataganj that this digging will bring progress in the area.

On the other hand, Chukundi and other kids are playing around the area and suddenly Chukundi goes missing. Apparently, he falls in one of the holes dug by the Pradesh Nigam workers.

Sadak Aur Gaddhe Tuesday 4 May 10 pm only on SAB

Chukundi has been missing. This results in a lot of chaos till the police arrive. Mukundi is going crazy and the whole of Lapataganj is trying to do their bit to help him. A journalist tries to enact the whole incident of how Chukundi might have fallen into a place dug by the workers in order to sensationalize the news. Army is called for help, but the army officer realizes that the truck they had called for is stuck and the fire brigade will also not be able to reach the location.

Finally, they throw in a rope and to their surprise Bakkruddin Chacha comes out. Then they realize that Bakkruddin had fallen before Chukundi and nobody took notice of him. They again throw the rope and Chukundi comes out. As the confusion comes to an end, Chukundi questions the government’s act of digging holes all over the place at the expense of the safety of the local people.

500 ka nakali note in Lapataganj on 5th May at 10:00pm only on SAB

Mama finds a 500 rupee fake note and he starts dreaming about all the things he can do with the money. He buys eggs and Hens and gives the 500 rupee note to the Murgi Wali. The Murgi Wali gives it to Sutti lal and he passes it on to Eliza in return for his wife's blouse. Eliza gives the money to Mastana and from Mastana a cop comes and takes it. When the money finally reaches the station, the cop realizes it is a fake note and he traces it back to Mama. Mama tells them that he found the note in front of Mukundi’s house. The cops arrest Mukundi but suddenly more fake notes come flying. Finally we get to know that the money is been manufactured by a local Neta,who is arrested and taken to Jail.

Cost Cutting in Lapataganj on 6th May at 10:00pm only on SAB

Mukundi is given the notice that the government is chucking out people due to cost cutting. He is scared and upset. He starts dreaming about Indu begging as he has no money and no job and everybody in Lapataganj making fun of him. Kachua realizes it and he writes a letter from everybody’s side and posts it so that Mukundi can get work. But Mukundi comes and tells them that it was a nice gesture but this will not be enough to save his job.

Recession hits Lapataganj – Part 2

Monday May 10, 10pm only on SAB

Kachua devices a way to save Mukundi’s job. He goes to a local Neta and tells him that all the work he does goes unnoticed because nobody gets to know about it, therefore he should write letters to everyone to let them know about all of his accomplishments. So a representative of the politician buys stamp paper worth rupees 20000, which inturn generates work and hence Mukundi is called back to the post office. Mukundi then addresses everyone that it’s the government's job to give employment to the people and not to take it away.
