I am new to the forum. Sorry if I am posting in the wrong section. I have a question about South Indian channells in US. Here are they.

1. Is it possible to get Surya TV( malayalam) thru Verizon FIOS connection. Not as an internet channel, but a channell thru the set top box.
2. What kind of satellite dish and receiver is required for Asianet( malayalam). Is this MPEG4 capable?
3. Is there a satellite dish that is capable of getting multiple malayalam channells?

i live in dubai
i have south package (tamil bonanza) but except kalaignar tv, pls advice how to get it.. i miss the new movies they telecast...

You can't get Kalainger TV in Dish TV in Dubai because it is from Insat 4B, so if you want those channels you have to fix another 120cms dish to get, no other way. In India both satellites are nearby so they catch in single dish but in Dubai it is not possible..

i used to watch all the kalaignar group channels free from Insat 4B C band... but after the power failure there... they moved to insat 2 E zone beam which is also not accessible in dubai.. i paid huge money to a technician to get this dish tv but still not able to get kaliagnar tv... the govt cable television service provides only sun and vijay...

very sad na...
