Please don't mistake me.
I am a practical man. Just I am reached 2412 DTH installation last 4 Years. and also installed 142 C Band dishes .

My way is very Simple
My Toolskit.
1.local Receiver . It has Autoscan, Freq.No add/edit,Symbol rate and polarity, 22 k off/ on.
2. 5 Inch Small tv. and cable that's all.
Thats why I am telling very easy to catch the signals. (Just 05 Minutes enough me)
I think..... you are trying with company receiver for getting signal. It is really hard and waste of time.

Ravitha I am also a Electronics technician, and in the dish set up field for lat 6 years.

Installed around 500 DD Direct Plus DTh and 50 More C Band Dish. i have around a 1000 More customers.

You said the correct info, tuning with branded STB's will waste your time, Local STB's are fine for Tuning, also use a Small Tv.

We expecting more tips from the practical man Ravitha.
