Channel Blank Issue - Cinemax, Star Channels, & UTV Channels

We have noticed that several Dialog TV subscribers are currently experiencing an issue where Star Cricket, Star Sports ,CINEMAX
& UTV channels are getting blank without showing any notice even the channels is activated for their package and the issue is persisting only for subscribers who uses the COSHIP Decoder. This has become a major problem because of the ICC World Cup matches, since most of the matches are being shown on Star Cricket. The issue can be rectified upon performing a software upgrade. So We have decided to post an article on how to get this sorted out.

MAKE SURE TO READ THE ARTICLE FROM THE BEGINNING TO END AND PROCEED WITH THE STEPS

You need to have the COSHIP Decoder. You can identify the Decoder model by referring the SET UP box number. The number can be found at the back side or downside of the decoder, which comes with a Which Color sticker. The number should either start with 020 or 029.(Refer the below picture)


THINGS NEED TO BE REMEMBERED BEFORE PROCEEDING

01. Make sure you have proper level of Signal on your connection (PRESS the AUDIO R/L button from the Dialog Remote to check the level.Recommended Signal & Quality level should be more than 45% ). Do not perform the download when its rainy or cloudy situation.

02.Follow only the instruction given in this article

03. Do not interfere the process at any time until the download is finished (Don't press EXIT button, Do not power the Decoder etc....)

04.Any interruption during the software download will crash the Set up box memory.

Now Follow the below steps.

## Press the Menu-button from your Dialog TV remote and move the pointer to IRD Upgrade and Press OK

## A dialog Box will appear asking to proceed with the download process Press OK to confirm

## Another Dialog box will appear which will estimate the time period to download the Software Version. (DO NOT INTERFERE THE PROCESS UNTIL IT SHOWS THE ESTIMATED TIME PERIOD) This is will range between 2000 to 2400 seconds

## Once it displayed the estimated time period Press OK to confirm the Download

##During the Download......

# The television screen will go on blank meanwhile the decoder will not respond until the process get finished.

# The LED screen of the Decoder will show the download process with certain symbols

## The Set box will come back automatically once it finish the download process

## The system will perform an auto scan to reset the channels

## The system will be tuned in to channel number 01 and the LED display of the Decoder will show the Channel number
