Terms & Conditions
The Friends & Family Programme (“Programme”) is a reward based referral Programme for eligible Tata Sky subscribers.
For the description of the programme, please refer to the Programme communication.
Definitions
1. ‘Active account status’ means a positive account balance in the Subscriber’s Tata Sky account.
2. ‘Subscriber’ means a Tata Sky subscriber who meets all the criteria under point 2(a) in order to participate in the Programme.
3. ‘New Customer’ means a friend or family member of the Subscriber who meets all the criteria under point 2(b) in order to participate in the Programme:
4. ’Code’ means the code displayed on the unique referral coupon assigned to Subscriber ID of each Subscriber.
Eligibility
2(a) Subscriber:
In order to be eligible to participate in the Programme, a Subscriber must meet all of the following criteria:
1. He should be residing in any one of the following cities: Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Ghaziabad, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Noida, Faridabad, Gurgaon and Jaipur;
2. He should have subscribed to Tata Sky by 20 November 2008;
3. He should have received the Programme communication including the unique referral coupons from Tata Sky.
2(b) New Customer:
In order to be eligible to participate in the Programme, a New Customer must meet all of the following criteria:
1. He should be residing in any one of the following cities: Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Ghaziabad, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Noida, Faridabad, Gurgaon and Jaipur
2. He should purchase a new Tata Sky connection by calling the Tata Sky helpline
3. He should make such purchase ONLY through his credit card and
4. He should compulsorily quote the Code on the unique referral coupon (received from the Subscriber) at the time of scheduling the installation of the Tata Sky service.
5. He should ensure that his installation is scheduled latest by 30 November 2008.
Validity of the Programme
The Programme is valid from 22 April 2008 till 30 November 2008.
Reward:
1. Reward for Subscriber shall be Rs 300 credited to the Subscriber’s Tata Sky account for every purchase made by a New Customer.
2. Reward for New Customer means a one month free subscription to any one of the following Packs: South Jumbo/ Super Saver/ South Starter/ Super Hit Pack depending upon the Festive Promo Pack chosen by New Customer under the Grand Festive Offer. For e.g. if New Customer chooses 400 days of Super Saver Pack, he shall be entitled to a one month free subscription to the Super Saver Pack.
3. A Subscriber and a New Customer will get their respective rewards only after the New Customer’s Tata Sky service has been activated.
4. A Subscriber should have an Active account status at the time of assignment of the Reward.
5. The rewards under the Programme are non-refundable, not exchangeable for cash or any other value and cannot be transferred to any other subscriber ID.
6. No request for change of Rewards will be entertained by Tata Sky.
Codes
1. A New Customer will be allowed to use only one Code.
2. A Code is valid only for a new primary connection for which a new Subscriber ID is created and not for a multiroom connection.
3. Tata Sky will not be responsible for any loss/ damage/ misuse of the Code and no claims will be entertained by Tata Sky in this regard.
4. Tata Sky is not responsible if the Subscriber provides the same Code to more than one New Customer. In such an event, reward against the Code quoted will be allocated on a first-come basis.
General
1. A New Customer can also avail of any other offer from Tata Sky valid at the time of purchase.
2. Standard terms and conditions of the Subscription Contract shall apply to the New Customer after activation of his Tata Sky service.
3. Tata Sky employees, their family members and Tata Sky business partners are not eligible to participate in the Programme.
4. Tata Sky reserves the right to modify or replace wholly or in part, this Programme, with any other Programme, withdraw or terminate the Programme at any time without any liability or without any prior notice to the Subscriber or New Customer.
5. All queries must be emailed to help@tatasky.com with the subject line ‘Friend & Family Programme’.
6. In case of any dispute the decision of Tata Sky shall be final and binding on the parties.
