Hello All,
Nice to see discussion over here about FTA channels, i have tried searching about it but not seen any real discussions except here.

It is true, the DTH companies are deliberately stalling customers from accessing FTA channels when it is the right of the customer to do so.

I am sick and tired of the Airtel Digital TV HD Box, they overcharged me for the 2nd Connection even after i had told them to disable that 2nd STB, so i am boycotting Airtel and going for another STB, maybe Tata Sky+ HD.

So can someone please give me a firm concise answer as to how many different international HD and non HD FTA channels can one program the STB to receive? There are internet sites with 1000s of free TV channels. I am sure there must be a way to get these on an STB also.

Well the Signal Strength and Signal Quality remains 0 when i given any other satellite transponder details. SW version is of Nov 2011. What am i doing wrong??

^^ Same here. I am also getting the same. I have software version 1.0.6.001 Nov 08 2011. Are the FTA channels still working?

Hello arman _99, How did u enter the parameters? ensure that u have to convert c band frequency to ku band to get signals for eg. to convert 4015 to Ku band sibstract 4015 form 5150. then add 9750 or 10600 with the result. ie,1135+10600=11735 or 1135+9750=10885. add other parameters same. try again. reply me if u don't get signal.

hey sibi3652, i store many satellite channels with start 5001, but never come picture out,channels are store, any trick to watch channels after stored channels in ta**sky hd+. i waiting ur reply
