MUMBAI: Zee Cinema is relaunching its Saturday night time band ‘Shanivaar Ki Raat Amitabh ke Saath’ as ‘Shanivaar Ki Raat Sitaaron ke Saath’.

Beginning 21 June, the Saturday 8 pm slot, which till now was showing Amitabh flicks, will now showcase latest Bollywood movies under the new brand – ‘Shanivaar Ki Raat Sitaroon Ke Saath’.

The movie channel has also associated with the upcoming movie Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na which is introducing Imran Khan as an actor.

The slot includes films like Vivah, Jab We Met, Hera Pheri, Fool N Final, Dhol among others.

Zee Cinema deputy vice president Akash Chawla said, “There is an intrigue and freshness about the movie which also goes true to our slot. We now move towards the new generation of fresh movies and Imran, the next heartthrob of young India, complements our philosophy.”

As part of the campaign, Zee Cinema has launched the ‘Imran Khan Ko Jaane Tu …Ya Jaane Na Contest’ wherein viewers have to answer simple questions.

The college that will top the participation in the contest would be visited by Imran along with the Zee Cinema team. The contest will end in the mid of July.

Zee Cinema has roped in Vodafone as the main sponsor.
