You cant keep an actor away from work for too long…Rajshree Thakur the talented actor is back on television with her her entry the STAR Plus’s Sapna Babul ka..Bidaai. She is introduced in the show as a prosecution lawyer, who will be fighting the case against Ranvir. In the show she is pitted against Amarr Upadhyaay, who is the defense lawyer. Rajshree’s character has many shades as she portrays the role of strong willed women Nishtha Vasudev who is a single parent of a 5 year old son. She is separated from her husband because she materialistic person. She is a very honest person and fight for what is right. She has sacrificed a lot in life because of her honest nature but that hasn’t deterred her from to take a stand the truth no matter if her own personal relationships get affected in the bargain. She meets mamaji (Alok Nath) outside the court room before the case… she instantly recognizes him. That once mamaji had come to give lecture in her university and that lecture had left a very big impact on her life as she respects him a lot. Later when she sees mamaji in the same courtroom….she is shocked to know that mamaji is related to Ranveer who she is fighting against. But that does not stop her from fighting for the truth.

Elaborating on her role, Rajshri states, “My screen name is Nishta Vasudev, and as my name depicts, I am a truthful person. I am a lady with principles and am emotionless when it comes to taking the right path”. This is not a comeback as such for me, as it is not a full-fledged role. I am looking for a good and challenging role to come my way”.
