Synopsis – New York is a contemporary story of friendship set against the larger than life backdrop of a city often described as the centre of the world. It touches the lives of three friends – Maya (Katrina Kaif), Sameer (John Abraham) and Omar (Neil Nitin Mukesh) – leading a carefree life in New York The disastrous terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on 9/11 is the ugly twist in the tale which turns their lives topsy turvy.These three friends stick together throughout, the twists and turns of this movie. They are tortured and forced, to be in investigation of the police for allegedly causing the 9/11 as they are Indians and are called upon to be terrorists.
