Just 25 days after opening telephone lines, NDTV Imagine has been inundated with calls from across the country from those wanting to be a part of the new reality show, Raaz – Pichhle Janam Ka. Imagine has received over 8000 calls from across the country, from people wanting to experience past life regression in order to find answers to their unexplained fears and problems. From men and women, young and old everyone seems to want to discover how their past is affecting their present life.
Callers have outlined the various fears and recurring dreams that continue to haunt them. Calls ranged from someone who had recurring dreams of being in plane and dying in a plane crash to those who are scared of crows, water, fire, heights etc…
Reacting to the overwhelming response, Shailja Kejriwal, EVP Content NDTV Imagine said, “This has been a real eye opener for us. Raaz – Pichhle Janam Ka seems to have awakened the audience to the fact that our past lives do indeed affect our present one. The concept of the show is based on Past Life Regression, which is a therapy that uses a conscious meditative technique to recover memories of our past lives. It helps address fears, phobias and even physical ailments in our present day lives by finding their roots in our previous lives.
The Past Life Regression sessions will be conducted by the renowned clinical psychologist and practitioner Dr. Trupti Jayin. I m fascinated by the program on TV and now there is strong will to discover about the past life.
I keep seeing snakes in my dreams very often. Most of the times these are large cobras. In one of the occasions I’ve also seen Golden Cobra. But surprisingly in none of the dreams I feel scared or frightened. I do see that I m not uneasy in their presence as in none of the case they have hurt me. Moreover besides this, I keep seeing lots of waters, oceans, in the dreams.
Our family history has some strange past.
As per astrological sources we are under the influence about our forefathers’ sinful act in the past. They are supposedly have committed an act of separating or killing of one of the cobras who were in pair. This tentatively must have happened some time in 1920-30s periods in our ancestral house at Ahmedabad. The effect of this had been so severe that 6 Sisters from my fathers’ side lived with tragedy and most of them died insane or gone mad. 3-4 male members in the family too died in the span of 18 months. None of our family members could actually able to stay in this house after the incidence. Then our forefathers shifted to Maharashtra in around 1940s
Our forefathers were vey richer and called landlords at that time but we could never get the benefits as the land belonging to us by the Government to build a Dam offering us meager compensation. It is said that almost 70% of the land of the village belonged to us. All this has led us to believe our past.
We have heard of the life of Cobras (ichhadahari ) is said to be 1000 years. With the advice of astrological people we have also performed the kalsarpa vidhi, We are happy that because of these vidhis the severe effect of the past acts is gradually vanishing.
The only curiosity is left now whether me or any of the family members WERE THE PART OF THE ACT and later we have taken re- birth.
Secondly, particularly me has strong resemblance of my grand father who died in the same year (1963) before I was born.
