IBN-Lokmat’s day long tribute to the brave hearts of the 26/11 Mumbai Terror attacks
Mumbai, November. 26/11 has been etched in the pages of history as a doomsday for India. It was on 26th November 2008 that Mumbai yet again witnessed an attack on human kind, an attack that not only brought the entire country to a stand still, but also raised agitations against the country’s security system and management.
26/11 saw many brave lives fight against terror and fear, and to pay tribute to the martyrs IBN-Lokmat will have a series of shows lined up in remembrance of the tragedy and once again induce the sprit to fight terror.
This 26th Nov, 2009, tune into IBN-Lokmat and revisit the wounded by lanes of Mumbai in Maza Shahar Mazi Mansa – ek varshanantar, a show hosted by Nikhil Wagle- Editor IBN-Lokmat and a Mumbaikar with dreams about the city.
The show will exhibit conversations of fear, stories of bravery and the underlined spirit of Mumbai all capsulated in the one hour show. Maza Shahar Mazi Mansa – ek varshanantar will be aired at 8:30am with a repeat telecast at 8:30pm
The second show at 12pm will be Great-Bhet with Mr. Ujwal Nikam, Special public persecutor for the 26/11 terror attacks. In this interview with Mr. Nikhil Wagle- Editor IBN-Lokmat, Mr. Nikam will talk about the gruesome 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and about his continuous crusade against crime and terrorism.
Viewers will also get to watch ‘Yaad Karo Kurbani’ a show touching upon the lives of the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our country and its security. This touching show will be available at 4:30pm on 26th Nov 09.
Police and our Police force played a huge role in this battle against terror and IBN-Lokmat in its own special way will pay tribute to the ‘Mumbai Police’ for their undying spirit and valor. Tune into IBN-Lokmat’s “Katha Polisanchi, Vyatha Polisanchi’ (Stories and difficulties faced by Police) at 5pm.
The terrorist behind the attack is a faceless identity and yet he has the power to wreck havoc in a common mans world. IBN-Lokmat brings to the viewers a unique opportunity to know this person and find out his hidden agendas on ‘Kasab Special Show’ at 7:30pm.
26/11 a heartrending memory for every Indian, will be showcased in a docu-drama ‘Te 60 Taas’- (Those 60 hours). This docu-drama was also telecast as a 5 episode serial which began on Nov 22nd 2009. It details out modern India’s 60 most horrific hours and talks about the attacks right from the planning, the training, the first signs, the war, the liberalization to the win. The show will be aired on 26th Nov 2009 at 11:00pm as a two hour special docu-drama.
