Directed by debutantes Shaiju and Shaji, Shakespeare M.A. Malayalam tells the story of a young dramatist named Pavithran, who writes plays for Jayabharathy Theatres. Pavithran is also known popularly as ‘Shakespeare’ because of his being a playwright. Kottayam Gopalan, who runs Jayabharathy Theatres, likes him because it is Pavithran’s plays that keep his troupe in the limelight.
