NewsX presents an in-depth perspective of the Karnataka Elections
MUMBAI: The assembly elections in Karnataka will reflect the sentiments of
electorate ahead of eight states going to poll and the upcoming general elections.
In view of this, NewsX will present an in-depth perspective on the Karnataka
Elections. Starting Thursday, 1st May 2008, NewsX will telecast a series of news
bulletins and panel discussions involving India’s top politicians and industry
captains. Anchored by Arup Ghosh and Shireen, the series will focus on the politics
of Karnataka and its impact on neighboring states and Indian economy.
Answering the ‘how’ and ‘why’ and not just the ‘what’ and ‘when’, NewsX will cover
the Karnataka Elections from the perspective of decision makers and global Indians.
The series will emphasize on the various issues impacting the Karnataka Elections
through the specially commissioned audience poll conducted in association with DRS
Poll. Headed by GVL Narsimha Rao, DRS Poll has been conducting election polls for
many years. Mr. Rao, an eminent name for election surveys and analysis, will be in
the NewsX studio with Arup during the special episodes on the Karnataka elections,
presented from 1st to 4th May.
Starting 5th May, NewsX will also present a series of panel discussions with
India’s top politicians and business leaders including Kapil Sibal, Arun Jaitley,
HD Kumarswamy, Azim Premji, Mohandas Pai, Ram Chandra Guha and many such eminent
personalities.
