ANIMAL MEGA MOVES @ 20:30 PM - Poaching, disease and human encroachment are now part of an animal’s life on the African plains. There is a desperate need to protect the continent’s magnificent and diverse species and sometimes the only way to do this is to move them somewhere else. But how do you move enormous mammals, elephants, restless rhinos, hefty horses and speedy sharks? This is where Game Capture teams prove their worth. These larger than life individuals are working with the ultimate delivery deadline – their cargo must arrive on time, intact and alive. Follow specialist teams of animal movers, vets and transport engineers as they attempt to relocate animals across the globe by air and road in the episodes of Animal Mega Moves.

Episode : Horses - A team of British vets and transport engineers attempt to move fifteen racehorses worth a total of $4 million over 10,000 kilometers from England to Hong Kong in a specially adapted Boeing 747 aircraft. We follow the horses being transported to Britain’s 3rd busiest airport, Stansted, where they are loaded into special stalls and transferred into the cargo plane. The stalls are secured to the aircrafts fuselage to ensure they remain stable if the horses become agitated during the flight. During the 12-hour flight, a team of vets on-board monitors the horses to ensure they eat enough food and avoid dehydration.

ENGINEERING CONNECTIONS @ 21:30 p.m - Richard Hammond scours the globe to investigate modern miracles of engineering. Going deep inside some of the world’s most advanced engineering projects Richard reveals the often surprisingly simple, yet fantastically effective secrets that make them tick and how they owe their existence to things as diverse as a bird cage and an ancient Greek death ray.

Episode: Airbus A 380 - Richard Hammond sets out on a quest to find the amazing Engineering Connections behind the Airbus A380 the largest passenger airliner in history. His journey reveals that this state-of-the-art aircraft owes as much to weapons of war, Mother Nature and household objects as it does to high technology. He discovers that a bicycle pump, a 19th Century rocket, an ancient Mongolian bow and an eagles wing are all hidden in its secret DNA.

BIG BIGGER BIGGEST @ 22:30 p.m - Third Season of the CGI-driven Engineering format revealing the evolutionary technological leaps that enabled iconic structures  such as stadiums, ships, mines, aircraft, towers, cathedrals, trains and fortresses  to grow big, bigger, biggest and beyond in size and scale.

Episode: London Metro - Every morning over four million people descend into a vast network of tunnels beneath the city: The London Underground, also known as: The Tube. It’s the biggest metro system in the Western world and a true masterpiece of subterranean construction. The Tube owes its success to four key inventions found in a series of landmark metros. At the heart of each lies a major breakthrough that allowed metros to tunnel ever further under our cities. One by one, travelling up the scale, we’ll reveal the incredible stories behind these structures, and the inventions that made each network bigger than the last. Four ingenious leaps forward, from big, to bigger, into the Western world’s biggest.
