BANGALORE, 21st December, 2011: After a series of fresh ideas in reality and fiction shows the Star Network’s Kannada General Entertainment channel Suvarna announces yet another path breaking reality show – “Kannadada Kotyadhipati” (KK) based on the most popular reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC).

A show meant for the common Kannadiga, KK is the biggest ever reality show on Kannada Television offering the biggest  prize money of Rs.1,00,00,000/- (Rupees One Crore) in the Kannada GEC space. The format and the rules for this edition of KK will be same as the first edition of KBC.

Kannadada Kotyadhipati will be anchored by the face of Kannada cinema – youth icon and power star- Puneet Rajkumar.

Making his debut as an anchor for the first time on television Puneet Rajkumar says, “I am excited about being the anchor of this show which will give me an opportunity to interact closely with the common people. The format of the show is unique as this gives the common people an opportunity to use their knowledge and change their lives. Also it gives me immense pleasure to be part of the Suvarna family.”

Kannadada Kotyadhipati is produced by Big Synergy the same production house as KBC

The registration lines to participate in Kannadada Kotyadhipati will open from 27th Dec’2011 at 8pm. Puneet Rajkumar the anchor of the show will ask a question every night at 8pm on Suvarna Channel.

The call for entries to participate in the show will start from 27th Dec’2011 on Suvarna Channel.
