Bangalore, 4th November, 2010: Emboldened with the success of its reality show — Halli Hyda Pyateg Banda (with 8 tribal boys coming to city), which has seen overwhelming viewership in last three months, Suvarna Television Channel, is launching a sequel titled Pyate Mandi Kadige Bandharu (City Folks Came to Forest).
The new reality show will go on air from November 8, 2010 and will be telecast from Monday to Friday between 8 pm & 9 pm noted actor and dancer Akul Balaji, who anchored the last 2 series as well, will continue as the anchor.
“Our reality shows, besides providing entertainment to the large section of Kannada viewers, have been an attempt to woo more and more new viewers. Today lakhs of young viewers started watching our reality shows who hardly watched Kannada TV in the past. As far as the show is concerned, it’s a brand extension at one side and a whole new program at other side, as this is third sequel to hugely popular Pyete Hudigir Halli Lifu (City Girls – Village Life) and Halli Hyda Pyeteg Banda (Tribal Boy Comes to City)” says Anup Chandrashekaran, Business Head, Suvarna.
Unlike the past 2 shows, this sequel will see 12 boys and girls going to Dandeli forest (600km from Bangalore). They have to live like tribes as their tasks and day to day life, for 60 days, will be as per the instructions of a tribal community head. The City folks, who are used to leading luxurious and easy-going lifestyles, face the harsh and uncertain situations of forest milieu. With the 3rd sequel launching, the series will go on record as most unique and novel show in South India.
Pyate Mandi Kadige Bandru will be telecast during the weekdays on Suvarna at 8 pm

this is about what vijaya karnataka has published on harrasment on girls in this show.it’s very hard to take this kind of harrasment on girls in reality shows,
even it’s shame for the director who is handling this.it’s better to stop this kind of behaviours and make peoples to think and have good impression on this show.Don’t peoples think this is low level and bad mentality of one who harrased.

Firstly, a great appreciation for you dear friend. anchoring such a wonderful programme (PAYATE HUDUGI HALLI LIFE)on suvarna channel. I feel you are the right person, handsome with good physic and down to earth attitude.
Though iam non kannadiga, I make it a point to watch this programme on suvarna channel everyday.My kids of age 5, twins also do like this programme very much.
Another thing i would like to add here is choose the girls who are really serious about this programme and they also need lots of patience for taking up such task. I think some are not serious and impatient which really distrub the viewers.
I also wish the entire crew behind this programme to make it a grand success
