HBO does it again! Wins 25 Emmy Awards – the most for any network this year. THE PACIFIC leads all programming with eight wins.
New Delhi, August 30, 2010: – HBO has done it again! HBO has received 25 Emmy® awards, the most for any network for the eleventh year in a row, at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards®, announced in Los Angeles.
THE PACIFIC, a war-based saga produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, swept eight awards, while the HBO Original Movie TEMPLE GRANDIN, won seven.
· THE PACIFIC, has eight wins, including Outstanding Miniseries, Outstanding Art Direction for a Miniseries or a Movie, and Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special.
The ten-part mini-series premiered in India on 30th May, 2010.
· TEMPLE GRANDIN, seven wins, including Outstanding Made for Television Movie, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie (Claire Danes), Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie (David Strathairn), Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie (Julia Ormond), and Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special (Mick Jackson).
