Join Anchor Noopur Tiwari this week as she travels to the best wine estates in Paarl. The beautiful region of Tulbagh welcomes her with open arms and plenty of Bubbly. She meets Nicky Krone, of the House of Krone and learns how to perform the ‘sabrage’, a victory ritual started by Napoleon’s soldiers.
A tractor ride around the vineyards and some very hard labour in the Seidelberg Wine Estate leaves her exhausted but happy. She also visits the Pearl Valley Golf Estate and samples the ‘Milk Tart’, a traditional African delicacy.
Noopur completes her trip with meeting the prized wine maker of Saronsberg Wine Estate and heads to the Kagga Kamma Resort in the Klein Karoo for a unique ‘sleeping under the stars’ experience.
