Vijay TV proudly presents Cycle Pure Agarbarthi Bhakthi Thiruvizhaa
Vijay TV is proud to be back with Cycle Pure Agarbarthi Bhakthi Thiruvizhaa – a five day spiritual fest that was held at Narada Gana Sabha from April 05 – April 09, 2010. The entire proceedings of the spiritual festival would telecast from April 19, 2010, Monday – Friday, 6:30am on Vijay TV. The spiritual festival was inaugurated by one of the Supreme Spiritual leaders, ‘Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji’.
Being the sixth successful spiritual festival, this year many renowned speakers made their devotional discourses. Kalaimamani Thiru. Sugi Sivam spoke on ‘Thiruvasagathein’ which will have a brief note on Thiruvasagam. He spoke on the praises of Lord Shiva by narrating shot stories as examples from Thiruvasagam.
Sri Embaar Kasthuri spoke on the topic ‘Sollin Selvan’ where he explains about the history of Lord Anjaneya who is an ardent devotee of Lord Rama. Trichy Kalyanaraman spoke on ‘Parthanum Pasupathiyum’. Partha is none other than Arjuna, one of the Pandavas. Kalyanaraman spoke about Arjuna and Lord Shiva even citing quotes from Periyapuranam. Ilampirai Manimaran enlightened on ‘Arangan en Amudhu’. Here she explains to the audience about Lord Vishnu tracing the history from Srirangam.
Thiru. Vadhavooran spoke on the topic, ‘Variyaar Kattum Vazhum Vazhi’. He explains with suitable Murugan stories as well. Sri Baala Srinivasan spoke on ‘Thayumaanavar’. Smt. Vijaya Sundarai converse on ‘Kandapuranam’ and Thiru Parasuraman spoke on ‘Arunagirinadharin Ramayanam’.
Smt. Bharadhi Thirumagan gave a discourse on ‘Pattinathaar’. Pattinathar is one of the 18 Sidhargal. Bharadhi spoke on the praises of this Sidhar. Sri.Oo.Vee. Devaraj Swamigal spoke on ‘Tamil Thalaivan Namazhalvaar’. Thiru. Sangaranarayanan spoke on ‘Paamban Swamigal’ who is a fervent follower of Lord Murugan.
Kalaimamani Nagaimukundan spoke on ‘Ottagaiyum Yaanaiyum’ – a story of Hasthinapuri where Panjali’s fate was destined. Sri. Oo.ve. Karunakara Chariyaar’s ‘Kaalum Thaalum’ speaks on the greatness of Lord Venkateswara.
Along with great discourses, Namasangeerthanam was also performed by ‘Udayur Kalyanaraman’, ‘Dr. Ganesh’, Smt. Kalyani Margabandhu, Smt. Savitha Sriram and Smt. Jaanaki Subramaniyan. This year’s Bhakthi festival also had ‘Isaiyum Uraiyum’ by Sri Oo.Vee. Anantha Padmanabachariyaar and Smt. Vasundhara Rajagopal where they spoke and sang on Lord Krishna in ‘Sri Krishna Gaanamrutham’. Selvi. Suchitra also performed to ‘Isaiyum Uraiyum’ on ‘Sri Ramakrishna Pattabishegam’. Along with this Harikatha was also performed in this year’s Bhakthi Thiruvizhaa festival.
Special prasadams were also distributed for all the devotees on all days of the spiritual fest. The entire proceedings of the spiritual festival would telecast from April 19, 2010, Monday – Friday, 6:30am on Vijay TV.
