Chithirai Thirunal Specials on Vijay TV – Special show line-ups on 14 April 2010

Vijay TV celebrates this special day with great pride and has many special programmes lined-up for its viewers.

At 8am watch ‘Sri Krishna Sweets Thaaimayukku Vanakkam’ where celebrities from different walks of life participate to pay homage to their first mentor – their Mother. The show would feature celebrities like Mayilsami Annadurai, Lyricist Vairamuthu, Director Shankar, Producer AVM Saravannan and many others. Hosted by the Chinna Kalaivannar Vivek, this show speaks about the greatness of Mothers.

Following this at 9am, do not miss to watch the special episode of ‘Mr. White Koffee with Anu’. On this special day, ace Srilankan cricketer Muttiah Muralidharan would be the special guest on this show. Muralidharan makes his first television appearance and shares with Anu Haasan on how he began his cricket career. Initially he started as a medium pace bowler but later he grew as a spinner, Muralidharan has grown to such a leap that he holds the record for having taken more than 792 wickets in a test cricket. He also speaks about former Srilankan captain Arjuna Ranatunga whom he considers as his mentor. Muralidharan also speaks about his life at boarding school, his wife Malarvizhi who hails from Chennai.

At 10:30am is ‘Gokul Secret Garden Jodi No.1 Season 4’. The Jodi’s would be joined by Irumbukootai Murattu Singam film crew. Director Simbu Devan, Actors Lawrence Ragavendra and Lakshmi Rai. The set of Jodi No.1 is completely revamped in the “wild west” setup.

Following this at 12:30 noon is ‘Lion Instant Oats Neeya Naana’. The topic of discussion on Chithirai Thirunaal would be “Which Tamil dialect of Tamilnadu is considered to be the best? “A very humorous talk-show anchored by Gobinath would also feature some celebrities on this special show.

Following this at 2:30pm would be the special screening of ‘Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru’. The comedy riot directed by debutant Nandini, the film features Ajmal, Rupa Manjeri and Mouli.

At 5:30pm, the gorgeous Tamannah speaks about her role in her latest blockbuster film ‘Paiya’ and also discusses her future projects.

Do not miss to watch the super hit film ‘Omen IV’ in Tamil; premiering on Vijay TV. The spooky film airs at 7pm.
