It is rightly said that your approach & your attitude makes a lot of difference. This is exactly what we noticed during the result episode of Music Ka Maha Muqqabla by Saibaba Telefilms. A trend that we usually see on the reality shows-super high on drama during eliminations; but its different in the case of Music Ka Maha Muqqabla, in the sense that all the mentors & contestants, instead of being dramatic and sad that they may get eliminated; were enjoying the show to the core. The only mantra they believed in ” We have had some of the best memories on the show, we have enjoyed being on the show throughout and wana continue doing soo…. in fact Mika paji suggested partying to which Himesh agreed instantly, irrespective of what the result would be.” Must say all of them were high on spirits, all with a smile, dedicating some wonderful medleys’ to one another. After all atmospheres is all that matters, a treat for the audience in true sense.

The concept of this round was to dedicate songs to the mentors which were sung by them. Each team selected a set of songs sung by the mentors and presented it in different style. The show started with Shreyas Superstars dedicating songs to Shankar, Himesh Warriors dedicated medley to Shaan, Shankars Rockstars dedicated songs to Himesh & Shaan Strikers dedicating to Shreya. It was for the second time that Himesh got emotional on the show. When Rahul from Shankar’s team sang aashiq bana ya aapne, at first Himesh started dancing, not only that Shaan & Shreya also joined him and the very next moment with the change in track he was in tears. The minute Himesh realized tears rolling down his cheeks, he moved back stage…. (Himesh touched by your move) Shaan also couldn’t hold back when Himesh sang for him. Though Mika paji & Mohit cheered up the mentors and added some more masti to the show by their witty comments.

As the show moved on result were declared in bits-n-pieces and only two teams will head towards finals. It is noted that Himesh has maximum votes compared to Shankar from national public voting & by internet polling, though in terms of points Shankar leads Himesh (Shankar- 4points & Himesh-2points). As a matter of fact Himesh had asked the audience not to vote for him “Public ka paisa waste nahi karna chahiye” is what he quoted when his team didn’t perform well in the last round. Jab mentors hi itne sachee ho, to aur ab hum kya kaihe..Hats off!!.
