Bitten by the dog again, Indu goes to her mother’s house for awhile. Back in Lapataganj, Indu’s absence makes Mukundi miss her and Biji teases him about it. Later Mukundi in a very witty manner explains the difference between a Girlfriend and a Wife and how different things get once you are married. Biji starts to day dream about how his life would be if he gets married to Surili. A flash is shown about him dreaming, where Biji is doing the householf chores and gets depressed. Once out of his dream and into the real world, he praises Mukundi on his bravery for surviving his marriage with Indu.
