COLORS launches Afternoon Band Saanjhi Dopahar on 15th February
Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki…Ganga will air every Monday- Friday at 1.30 pm and Aise Karo Na Vidaa at 2 pm
Mumbai: February 09, 2010 : After making your evenings irresistibly colorful, COLORS – India’s No. 1 entertainment channel, is all set to brighten up your afternoons with two new shows Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki…Ganga and Aise Karo Na Vidaa. These two shows will be telecast between the time band 1.30 to 2.30 pm with Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki…Ganga at 1.30 pm and Aise Na Karo Vidaa at 2.00 pm, as a part of the channel’s special afternoon prime time band ‘Saanjhi Dopahar’. While Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki…Ganga is the story of a sweet natured girl Ganga who is ostracized by the society and her own step-mother as they believe her to be cursed; Aise Na Karo Vidaa is the story of the bubbly girl Reva whose innocence is stolen and life plunged into a humorless void after she is physically assaulted by the royal prince.
Speaking about these new programming initiatives, Ashvini Yardi, Head Programming at COLORS said, “Until now, we have managed to dominate the prime time and increase our reach considerably. We wanted to expand the time band for original programming and cater new shows to our afternoon audience, especially the housewives.
