Mumbai, September 2009: Action, Adventure and Sci-fi are all the flavours of the month…! PIX-the premium English movie channel from Multi Screen Media Ltd. formerly known as Sony Entertainment Network celebrates the television premiere of ‘Outlander’ as the PIX Super Movie of the Month. Directed by Howard McCain, the action-packed film will telecast on Sunday, September 27 2009, 9pm only on PIX.
‘Outlander’ is a powerful adventure flick starring James Caviezel, Sophia Myles, Jack Huston and John Hurt.
To celebrate the premiere of ‘Outlander’ as PIX Movie of the Month, PIX has organized the PIX Paint Ball Contest 2009, slated for Wednesday, September 23 2009 at Exotica, Thane (West). There will be several teams of celebrities who will wage a war against each other and battle it out in the lush green locales. It will be the most adventurous and fun-filled battleground of stars. The lucky team will win a trip to Dubai and live life king size at Atlantis The Palm, which is considered as one of the prime properties in the world.

The movie Outlander begins when a space craft crashes onto planet earth. The ship lands in a lake situated around the local creek of ancient Norway in the time of the Vikings. From the wreckage emerge two bitter enemies: a soldier- Kainan and a bloodthirsty creature known as the Moorwen. Man and monster both seek revenge for violence committed against them. As the Moorwen ravages the Viking world, killing everything in its path, on the other hand, Kainan forms an alliance with the primitive. Whilst trying to hunt for the Moorwen, war brews among the Vikings, which ends with both sides taking immense losses. As the enemy Vikings retreat into the forests, the Moorwen strikes, leaving the vikings with no choice but to run for help to their once close enemies. Together, the two sides attempt to destroy the Moorwen as a single band of Vikings.
