This Hunt from Reasonable Communications (P) Ltd dares to bring cricket back to where it belongs- The Masses. In this unique Talent Hunt for all Cricket Enthusiasts & young Indians, The players will play in Professional leveled fields to be seen by thousands of spectators on the ground and by millions live on Doordarshan & DD Sports.

Watching and testing the fresh talent with their discerning eye will be cricketing experts who will also guide and polish the players, along with a whole team of local cricketing gurus. Youth Icon, bollywood star and cricket fanatic Riteish Deshmukh has been appointed as a brand ambassador to help this hunt traverse to the next level.

T-10 Gully Cricket had its inaugural edition in Jan –Feb 2009 played amidst 32 teams in 8 cities in Pune, Nashik, Thane, Surat, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jalandhar & Ludhiana. It had Rin as a presenting sponsor and Pepsi as a pouring partner for the first season. In less than 6 months later in Season 2, there will be 896 players playing from 64 teams in 16 cities in Pune, Nashik, Latur, Surat, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Gwalior, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Allahabad, Patna, Ranchi & Jamshedpur, with a Day & Night Grand Finale on 15th November 2009 in Kanpur. The promoters are planning to increase the hunt to 64 cities in its 3rd season next year. The idea behind the growing scale is that the progress should be inclusive and not exclusive to a privileged few.

This hunt with the main objective of creating a platform for the amateurs is eligible for only Non First Class Cricket players between the age group of 15-24 from Tier 2, 3 and below towns. More than 50,000 entries are expected to come in for this season from all the cities. The key is the huge aspirational values that players from this town prtray. The 1st season witnessed a huge appetite in the smaller cities from spectators overfilling every ground to the media continuously covering all the matches on a national level.

The season saw an amazing display of cricketing skills and the relatively unknown became the stars of their city. Some great emotions by their parents, siblings, close relatives and friends were witnessed and captured in these cities. Entertainment was also a staple diet in T 10 Gully Cricket Season One with Ehsaan Qureshi, Sunil Pal, Neha Rakkar, Vineet and others performing live to the audience. The season 2 promises to b bigger with more national & local celebrities performing at the matches.

Like in Season one, Season two will also have the formatting of the matches in group and regroup formats so that all the 16 teams stay alive almost till the end.thus ensuring variety of sustenance and interest levels. The organizers are also planning to explore & promote T-10 Gully Cricket through Franchisee Model and Merchandising. City Fan Clubs like “Lucknow Gullies”, “Gwalior Gullies” etc are being explored to be formed from the call for entries stage. These fan clubs will breed unprecedented Loyalty leading to frenzy across these towns. A multimedia campaign featuring Riteish Deshmukh along with a music video showcasing Gully Cricket in all its elements will be on air shortly on a national basis. An astounding amount of Rs 25 lakhs will be the prize money for this season
