‘Dhan te nan’ the retro song has soared the music chart as we await the release of the film ‘Kaminey’. Omar reviews the much anticipated action packed drama, directed by Vishal Bharadwaj starring the multi-talented, Priyanka Chopra along side an actor blessed with incredible dance moves- Shahid Kapoor.Post her remarkable performances and success in various roles, Priyanka Chopra is back with yet another film that will showcase her acting prowess.

Kaminey is a story about two brothers, Charlie and Guddu who happen to be twins. Charlie lisps while Guddu has a stutter problem. Both are very different and cannot stand the sight of each other. Till one fateful rainy night, their lives cross. Charlie gets mixed up in a deathly get-rich-quick scheme, while Guddu realizes that the love of his life, Sweety, has unwittingly put a price on his head.

The marathon continues with Omar’s review on ‘Life Partner’ directed by Rumi Jaffrey starring the bubbly actors Genelia D’souza and Prachi Desai, handsome Fardeen Khan, Tusshar Kapoor and old time favorite comic Govinda.

Life Partner is a comedy based on the institution of marriage. The film is about three close friends, each one having a different perspective about marriage. Govinda plays a divorce lawyer in the film who doesn’t believe in marriage and is a Casanova of sorts. Fardeen Khan plays a character for whom being in love matters most and Genelia D’Souza plays his love interest. Tusshar Kapoor plays a Gujarati who believes in the system of arranged marriage and Prachi Desai plays his Gujarati wife.

Bollywood English movie ‘Before the Rains’ joins the marathon this weekend with Omar taking the audience through the details of the movie. The movie features Jennifer Ehle, Rahul Bose, Linus Roache and Nandita Das.

Set in the 1930s Southern India against the backdrop of a growing nationalist movement, Before the Rains is the English language debut of acclaimed Indian director Santosh Sivan. An idealistic young Indian man (Rahul Bose) finds himself torn between his ambitions for the future and his loyalty to the past when people in his village learn of an affair between his British boss (Linus Roache) and a village woman (Nandita Das).
