Mumbai, March 30, 2009: After successful venture in Branded Entertainment space with ‘Rin Mera Star Super Star’ for Rin (Hindustan Unilever) and ‘Chala Change Ka Chakkar for Kurkure’ (PepsiCo) on STAR Plus, Endemol-India comes with yet another show for Hindustan Uniliver called ‘Fair and Lovely Choo Lo Aasman’. ‘Fair and Lovely Choo Lo Aasman’ is an innovative initiative by Endemol India for the very first time on Doordarshan which air on March 25th, 2009.
‘Fair and Lovely Choo Lo Aasman’ will give twelve girls the opportunity to get one step closer in accomplishing their dreams. It is a once in a lifetime occasion for the twelve deserving girls from all over India who will go through a process that ensures them exposure to the country’s foremost grooming experts and a chance to prove their mettle as they compete to be the fortunate winner through a series of tasks.

Through a string of strenuous auditions, only twelve final contestants will be chosen to be a part of the show. The contestants will reside in Mumbai where they will go through intense grooming process which will only further strengthen them to take up the challenge. The girls will be tested through various tasks that will determine which of these girls are well deserving to be taken ahead in the next level of the competition.
The twelve girls will be evaluated as a team while still analyzing their individual abilities too, giving the Celebrity jury panel a chance to evaluate the girls on the basis of confidence, leadership qualities & ability to perform under pressure. Every week the number of girls decreases, until at the end of the series three finalists are short listed and a winner is decided on the event of the Grand Finale.
With ‘Fair and Lovely Choo Lo Aasman’, Endemol –India touches upon a novel concept where no one has ever pondered before. By giving a platform where the ladies can prove themselves, Endemol –India salutes the undying spirit of every woman around the world.

A path breaking project for the brand and Indian Television, “Fair and Lovely Chhoo Lo Aasmaan” is a 26 part reality series where 12 deserving girls from across the country get a once in a lifetime opportunity – to come to Mumbai to prove that they have the skill, passion and drive to have their dreams fulfilled!
Weekly tasks and eliminations test the girls on their varied vocations, bringing them one step closer to having their dream come true. Shruti Seth, the ever supporting anchor, eggs them on when the going may get tough… Judges Farooq Sheikh and Neena Gupta judge and guide them across the series to finally announce the one undisputed winner in a grand finale event.
