This weekend Star Plus is back with its prank show Arre Deewano Mujhe Pehchano, Fri, Jan 23rd, 10 p.m. Humor and laughter being the essence of the show, this Friday, the four celebrity prank stars Yash Tonk, Mahesh Manjarekar, Mandira Bedi & Mona Singh will get on to fooling the general people ones again.
The sultry Kavita Kaushik hosting the show with the lover boy Gadhashree will woo the viewers with their hilarious comments. Who will be the favorite Behrupiya this Friday?
Watch out for… Yash Tonk as a freaky Gym Instructor
Yash, dressed like Aamir in Ghajini, pulls a fast one on an unsuspecting victim. Yash makes the guy do funny exercises and leaves him completely baffled. Not ones does the guy realizes that the gym instructor is his favorite actor Yash Tonk. Yash’s stand up is based on body-building where he mimicks the superstars of yesteryears – Dharmendra, Dev Anand and Feroz Khan.
Mahesh Manjrekar plays his favorite ‘Underworld Don’
Mahesh’s victim, an insurance agent, almost gets a cardiac arrest with the mischief that Mahesh pulls on him. His stand up was based on the idea – what will happen if the underworld got corporate. His black humor was well-received by his peers; except for Rakhi who felt that he lacked punch this time.
Mandira Bedi, the sultry hotel receptionist
Based on today’s situation where hotels go to any extent on the name of security measures, Mandira plays a nagging hotel receptionist who irritates the poor guest to the hilt. Her stand up was based on a Room Service Manager who had nothing in her kitchen to serve the guests. Mandira managed to get a very high rating from her peers for her hilarious performance.
Mona Singh performs as the Kolhapuri Housewife
Mona, took on the challenge of playing a Kolhapuri housewife who lands up at a kitchenware store in Mumbai. She nags the salesman with her silly questions about cookers, juicers etc managing to con 2 people. Her stand up where Gabbar and Samba land up at her kitchen, in typical Maharashtrian accent got her a whopping rating.
